Mishawaka Riverwalk

Whether you’re looking for a great place to run, stroll, or bike, the Mishawaka Riverwalk is a great place to go. Located at N Spring St, Mishawaka, IN 46544. The riverwalk is a relaxing place to walk and run, and is also home to a number of great parks. There is an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a football/soccer field, an outdoor ice rink, a water basketball net, playground equipment, and a boat launch. The riverwalk also offers a wide variety of places to picnic.

 

Along the riverwalk, you will see plenty of scenic views of the river and its sweeping vistas. There are also several parks that line the river, including Central Park. This park features five pavilions, a splash pad, a footbridge, and lighted tennis courts. It is also home to the Mishawaka Farmers’ Market, which is held on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. between May and September.

 

The riverwalk also provides a nice system of trails that run on the river’s banks. This trail is designed to be safer at night and has detours to the river for water sports. Some of the bridge crossings are also wheelchair-accessible. However, there are some steps that are located near the river. There is also a fish ladder that allows fish to swim upriver to the hatchery.

There is also a historic wall and gazebo in Battel Park. This park is accessible from the riverwalk and features playground equipment, an ice skating rink, and a splash pad. It is also home to a Civil War statue and a terraced rock garden. It is a great park to enjoy during the summer months.

 

A new pedestrian bridge will be constructed at the riverwalk, and the park will undergo a renovation. This $5 million project will provide a new community park and will be an economic stimulus for the city. The renovation is financed through Tax Incremental Funding.

 

The new pedestrian bridge will be highlighted by new LED lighting. The park will also have a concession stand and skate park. This will add to the beauty of the riverwalk and will provide more amenities for the city.

 

The riverwalk also provides access to the Mishawaka Farmers’ Market, which takes place on the south bank of the river. There is also a number of great restaurants in Mishawaka, including Ym! The 13th Zodiac, Mishawaka Butcher’s Steak Tartare, and Chicory Cafe.

 

The riverwalk has several places to shop for clothing and other items. There are stores that sell women’s clothing, jewelry, tarot decks, blankets, and kitchen supplies. You can also find an array of home decor items, including candles, wall art, and fairtrade home items. You can also find an indoor trampoline park, a Ninja Warrior course, and a warped climbing wall.

 

You will also find the Ten Thousand Villages, a store that carries women’s clothing, men’s clothing, rugs, kitchen supplies, and other items. The store also carries the largest selection of fair trade home items in the area.
