Nurturing Our Village has been created to help foster, adoptive and all other parents and children connect to the resources they need to thrive. We also want to connect those wanting to help with opportunities that will make an impact.
There is a place for everyone in Our Village.Resources for individuals thinking of or are currently fostering or adopting; those expecting, those grieving, those who have struggled to become parents. Resources include counseling, coaching and mentoring, support groups, sources of donations, camps, respite centers, foster and adoption agencies, and much more.
There are many kinds of support for your child, be they foster, adopted, surrogate, step- or biological. Some specialize in services for disabled children, or those newly grieving. Some offer mentoring, some support groups, some scholarships, some donations to meet specific requests. There are many who want to provide support to your child in their journey.
Churches and organizations have a key role to play in elevating the visibility of vulnerable children around us and providing support structures to those parents providing primary care. Check out the many organizations engaged in this way and see how you might get involved.
